Description: This lecture turns to Scripture for wisdom in facing life's most pressing and personal challenges. While acknowledging the complexities of interpretation and application, it explores how biblical teaching can offer both guidance and hope amid struggle and uncertainty. Together, we will consider how faith speaks to the heart of daily life-conflict and the longing for peace, illness and healing, marriage and parenting - while also reflecting on Scripture's vision for wholeness in relationships. Beyond the personal, the lecture broadens its scope to collective crises, examining how the Bible addresses natural disasters, pandemics, and the stewardship of resources. In these moments, we will explore how Christian faith shapes responses of resilience, compassion, and wise stewardship in times of both scarcity and abundance.
