When I enrolled at Trinity School of Natural Health on March 2, 2020—just as the world was about to change with the onset of COVID-19—I couldn’t have imagined how profoundly it would shape my path. Over the next three years, I immersed myself in seven courses, ranging from Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) to Master Iridology, pursuing board certification with each program I completed. It was during the Master Iridology course that something extraordinary happened. The material felt deeply familiar, almost as if I were remembering something my spirit had always known. That spark grew into a passion that has guided my career ever since. After earning my certification through Trinity, I became internationally board-certified by the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), earning the designation of Certified Comprehensive Iridologist (CCI) and, more recently, advancing to CCI-3.
Along the way, Trinity’s instructors played a vital role in my growth. Their willingness to joyfully share their knowledge, answer questions with patience, and bring their own clinical experiences into the virtual classroom helped bring the material to life and inspired me to keep going, even when the workload was intense. Their enthusiasm for natural health made me want to set the same high standard of excellence for my own clients.
I also completed courses in Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, and Homeopathy—all of which have beautifully woven into my current focus: the practice of Naturopathy and Iridology. In each of these disciplines, I chose to pursue board certification to deepen my understanding and honor the quality of education I received at Trinity.
In early 2024, I was accepted into the Advanced Iridology Fellowship Program with IIPA, a rigorous five-year program designed to challenge practitioners and help advance the field. Alongside my work with clients and research for my fellowship, I continue to pursue education through webinars and additional certifications that enhance my knowledge and service. I also support the Board of Directors as a member of the Certifications & Standards Committee in fulfilling my Fellow requirements.
Looking back, Trinity gave me more than just academic training—it opened my eyes to principles I had never encountered before. The simple phrase, “The body will heal itself if given the chance,” changed everything for me. I grew up in a household where hard work replaced self-care, where health wasn’t guarded but instead was taken for granted until it was gone. Both my parents lived with that mindset and passed away young. They didn’t know better. Realizing that this cycle wasn’t inevitable—that health could be nurtured and restored—was revolutionary.
Today, that belief shapes the way I live, learn, and practice. Trinity’s programs, dedicated instructors, and the pursuit of board certification in every course have given me a strong foundation to support others on their healing journeys. From Trinity to Fellowship, the education I received continues to ripple outward through my work, my research, and my commitment to share what I’ve learned with others.
