December recipe: Snowballs

(Jane's suggestion is to keep them small as they are very rich)

Ingredients
1/2 Cup almonds (grind in a food processor)
2 Tbsp flax seed (grind in a coffee mill for a find grind)
1/2 Tsp sea salt (or to taste)
1/4 Cup raw coconut
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp coconut oil
2 Tbsp raw honey
Shredded Coconut

Directions

Mix the almonds, flax seed, sea salt, raw coconut and cocoa powder in a food processor. Then pulse in the coconut oil and raw honey. Add more raw honey if needed to adjust the consistency so the mixture may roll into a ball.

Roll into 3/4" balls and then roll in shredded coconut. Enjoy!

Store in the refrigerator. The recipe makes approximately 2 dozen snowballs.
